April 2026 - Spring Somatic Reset with Nadia Miller
As part of our Spring Series, we hosted Renew & Regenerate, a somatic taster session with Nadia, focused on creating intentional “me time” to reconnect with your internal state.
We explored the foundations of somatic experiencing, nervous system survival responses, and the science of regulation, alongside a beautifully calming guided practice. The session invited participants to cultivate curiosity about their present experience without judgement and introduced simple tools to support everyday nervous system regulation.
It was a well-attended session with excellent feedback, described as both grounding and empowering.
This was Nadia’s second time working with us at TABB, and we look forward to welcoming her back again soon.

March 2026 - Intimacy in Sobriety with Jodie Slee
We recently hosted a powerful and thought-provoking session with Jodie Slee, a trauma-informed psychosexual and relationship therapist and EMDR practitioner with over 17 years of experience.
The event was incredibly well attended and sparked a rich level of engagement, with thoughtful questions and open discussion throughout. It was clear this is a topic that resonates deeply with women at all stages of sobriety.
Jodie explored intimacy in its fullest sense, moving far beyond the narrow definition of sex, and instead opening up a wider conversation around connection:
She brought particular depth to how intimacy evolves in sobriety, especially for women navigating early recovery through to long-term sobriety.
A key theme was the role alcohol often plays as a buffer—helping to manage difficult emotions, social anxiety, past trauma, or disconnection. Without it, many women find themselves relearning how to experience closeness, vulnerability, and emotional connection in a completely new way.
Jodie’s approach, grounded in trauma-informed practice and evidence-based therapeutic models, focused on helping women:
She answered questions with both compassion and clinical insight, creating a space where women felt understood, supported, and informed.
A particularly valuable aspect of the session was its relevance to midlife women, including those navigating peri- and post-menopause—an area often overlooked but deeply connected to identity, relationships, and intimacy.
This session was not only informative, but genuinely empowering offering a hopeful perspective on how sobriety can lead to more authentic, grounded, and meaningful relationships.
Due to the level of interest and the importance of this topic, we will be inviting Jodie back to TABB later this year to continue the conversation.
Jodie generously gave us her presentation which is available in the resources section of the website for our members.

February 2026 - Unlocking Self-Worth with Annie Rowan
This event focused on self-worth and its impact on personal development, led by Annie Rowan, who discussed how low self-worth can hinder individuals from achieving their full potential.
Annie explained that self-worth is deeply rooted in early childhood experiences and can be influenced by seemingly minor events that children internalize as their fault. She conducted a guided meditation exercise to help participants connect with their younger selves and release any associated shame or guilt.
The session aimed to help attendees understand the origins of their self-worth and empower them to move forward, aligning their beliefs with their desired life outcomes. It was a powerful session and we hope to see Annie back at TABB in the future.

December 2025 - Festive Somatic Reset with Nadia Miller
Nadia delivered a truly wonderful Festive Somatic Reset Masterclass for TABB for Women. She was highly professional, extremely knowledgeable and so calm and reassuring in her delivery. The session was informative yet deeply relaxing, striking the perfect balance between learning and embodied experience.
She covered the basics beautifully, using thoughtful, creative slides that made everything easy to understand and accessible and she shared a range of practical tools and techniques that our members can genuinely use to reset and regulate themselves over the Christmas period.
Nadia’s voice is exceptional as a guide - so warm, steady and grounding - and many of our members commented that they could happily listen to her all day.
Thank you Nadia, for such a nourishing and generous session. I would absolutely recommend you to anyone interested in somatic work, mindfulness, and nervous system support.

December 2025 - Festive Daytime Meet-Up in London: Christmas party
Our TABB Christmas Party was a beautiful celebration of connection, joy, and alcohol-free fun right in the heart of London. We gathered at Covent Garden wandering through the magical Christmas Market, soaking up the festive lights, music, and atmosphere.
The day continued with a visit to Club Soda, where we enjoyed delicious alcohol-free mocktails – the perfect toast to community and wellbeing. From there, we took a short stroll to Cote restaurant for a cosy Christmas meal together.
This event brought together familiar faces and new friends, capturing everything we love about TABB: connection, celebration, and choosing joy without alcohol. Photos from the day show just how special it was – full of smiles, sparkle, and festive cheer.

December 2025 - Elevating the Alcohol-Free Experience
We were thrilled to welcome JOMO Independent Brand to our community for a sparkling showcase of flavour, creativity, and alcohol-free inspiration.
What began as Gemma and Richard’s surprising discovery of high-quality, largely undiscovered alcohol-free drinks soon sparked the creation of JOMO Club—a place for people who are tired of bland supermarket bottles and ready for something extraordinary. Their mission? To make exceptional alcohol-free drinks accessible, exciting, and utterly delicious.
JOMO members across the UK seek flavour, ritual, and the way a drink makes them feel—and that’s exactly what JOMO delivers every single month. Because your drink shouldn’t be an afterthought. It should be part of the celebration, the ritual, the joy. It should be the moment you look forward to.
During our event, Gemma brought this philosophy to life as she shared a curated selection of their standout alcohol-free products—perfect for hosting Christmas Day lunch, festive gatherings, or cosy evenings in December. She also treated us to a live mocktail-making demo, complete with expert tips on garnishes, festive twists, and even non-alcoholic wine pairing.
It was an evening of discovery, connection, and inspiration—reminding us that choosing alcohol-free doesn’t mean compromising on taste or experience. With JOMO, it means elevating.

Just a few days after, for our North America & Canada sisters, we had the loveliest meeting with Abbie from Raising the Bar. She opened her heart and shared her story, along with how she and her husband created their beautiful alcohol-free drinks company. Abbie inspired us with mocktail ideas, gorgeous wines, and drinks full of depth and layered flavour — the kind that let you feel part of the celebration and the ritual without the alcohol.
November 2025 - TABB Step Challenge: Women, Walks, Four legged Friends & A Worldwide Sober Community

November 2025 - Gut Health, Hormones & Happiness masterclass with Lucy Patel
Our recent session, Gut Health, Hormones & Happiness, was a huge success and an incredibly informative afternoon for everyone who joined. We were delighted to welcome Lucy Patel, a registered nutritionist specialising in gut health and female hormones, who guided us through a deep and accessible exploration of how our bodies change during sobriety.
Lucy shared her expertise on the crucial link between gut health, hormone balance, and overall wellbeing. She answered a wide range of participant questions, offering clear, practical advice on topics such as IBS, digestive discomfort, and supporting the gut during alcohol-free living.
She also provided valuable guidance on supplementation, with a special focus on what women should consider pre- and post-menopause. Lucy explained how to identify good-quality supplements, what to look for on labels, and how personalised needs may shift as our bodies evolve.
The session was warm, engaging, and packed with insights we can all begin applying straight away. A huge thank you to Lucy for her generosity and expertise - and to everyone who joined us. This event truly strengthened our understanding of the body’s incredible ability to heal, balance, and thrive.

October 2025 - Meditation Masterclass with Susan Quirke
Our Meditation Masterclass with Susan Quirke was a truly powerful and transformative group experience. Susan guided us through the concept of “de-exciting the nervous system” learning to slow down, create inner spaciousness, and become present with what is alive within us.
The session was calm, connected and deeply moving, offering our community a rare moment to pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves. Susan’s grounded wisdom and gentle teaching style created a safe environment for reflection and release, allowing many of us to drop into a deeper sense of ease.
As part of the event, Susan also led us through a beautiful live meditation on Zoom. This practice helped us embody the teachings in real time and gave everyone a practical tool they can return to in daily life.
The feedback from the group was overwhelmingly positive, and we’re already looking to bring more expert-led masterclasses like this to the TABB community in the future.
