Rules of Engagement
Welcome to TABB. Our Zoom meetings are a safe, empowering space for
women.
At TABB, we believe in taking meaningful actions that honour our needs, values and wellbeing even and especially when it’s uncomfortable or hard. We stand for self-respect, mutual respect, personal responsibility and the strength of community as we navigate life together.
By attending a TABB Zoom meeting or participating in any TABB space, you agree to honour the following Rules of Engagement. These shared agreements are rooted in care and exist to protect safety, trust and equality, so every woman can feel respected, heard and supported.
Who TABB Is For
TABB is an abstinence-based peer support community for women who are taking a break from alcohol, or living alcohol-free. Our meetings are grounded in shared lived experience, mutual respect and connection.
We ask that all shares remain relevant to sobriety, personal development and recovery-supportive topics, helping us make this time together meaningful.
If You Are Still Drinking
You are very welcome here. We simply ask that you keep your camera and microphone off during meetings. Stay, listen and know that you belong.
Safety & Confidentiality
This is a non-judgmental and confidential space.
Peer Support Boundaries
TABB is a peer-support community, not a replacement for professional care.
Each member is responsible for their own wellbeing and choices. If something arises that feels bigger than peer support, you are strongly encouraged to seek help from a qualified professional or local support services.
How We Share & Relate
Upholding Our Community
We ask all members to help uphold these Rules of Engagement.
If you experience or witness behaviour that does not align with these guidelines including boundary violations you are encouraged to report it confidentially to Sandra or Sarah. All concerns will be taken seriously and handled with care.
Repeated or serious breaches of these Rules of Engagement may result in membership being discontinued. This is not punitive, but protective of individuals, the community and the values TABB stands for.
A Shared Commitment
By being here, you are helping create a space rooted in respect, courage and mutual support.
Take a moment before joining to acknowledge the bravery it takes to show up for yourself and for the women alongside you.
We are here and that’s everything.
