ONE-TO-ONE PEER SUPPORT

Cara Mentoring Initial Appointment

Cara Mentoring is a kick start to sobriety. It is designed for our members navigating the complexities of early sobriety. It offers a unique opportunity to connect with someone who understands your struggles and experiences.
It is different from TABB coaching (which offers personalised, goal-orientated support from professionally trained coaches). Cara Mentoring is peer support. It focuses on the here and now, supporting you to stay alcohol-free today and build momentum.

In essence, it’s short-term support with accountability:

  • Having someone who has been there, who listens and understands.
  • Taking ownership of your journey through small, steady steps.
  • Committing to yourself, one day at a time.

In simple terms, mentoring says: ‘I’ve been there - let’s walk this together today’.

Who is it for?

Cara Mentoring is for women in the early days who want support keeping their decision not to drink.

It’s for those who:

  • Struggle to maintain alcohol-free days.
  • Have tried to do this on their own without success. Want a bit of extra support in the early days on a 1:1 basis.

What to expect

Your first session offers:

  • A chance to connect with your Cara Mentor and begin building trust
  • Space to explore your why
  • A gentle look at personal responsibility and what continued drinking can mean
  • A safe, confidential space to talk openly
  • Agreeing a regular time that works for you for your 15-minute check-in calls
  • Support and encouragement to help you stay committed for today

What to expect

Ongoing calls offer:

  • Short, focused 1:1 conversations with someone who understands
  • Honest, compassionate accountability
  • Support to help you keep the promises you make to yourself
  • Momentum to move forward and break the cycle of constant day ones

You don’t have to do this on your own anymore.

One day, one check-in, one step forward.

How it works

All CARA mentoring begins with an initial 20-minute 1:1 appointment (£25), which must be completed before booking any check-ins.

From there, you can choose the level of support that suits you:

  • Full week of daily check-ins (10–15 minutes) - £60 (7 consecutive days)
  • 5 check-ins per week - £50
  • 3 check-ins per week - £40

Testimonials

TABB is a warm, inclusive, abstinence-based space where we meet you exactly where you are. These testimonials share the experiences of women who found community, support and growth with us. Let their experiences be your inspiration..

"I have procrastinated for years about giving up the wine. I knew I couldn't do it alone but the mainstream groups just didn't fit. Finding TABB has literally changed my life, for once in my life I feel connected and held while going through the early process."

"Whether it's your first step or your hundredth, it's easier when we share our journey. Here is where we connect with those who understand us, because we are all us. And together, we are stronger.

Thank you for this community, where we are heard and we hear, where we hold and are held and where our sobriety grows."
M. September 2025

"At the beginning, I felt completely lost and unsure of myself. I didn’t really know what to expect, but from the start Sandra, Sarah and the mentors offered guidance and support in such a caring, non-judgemental way."
